Ever since I got myself bitten by the computer modding bug, I've been exploring so many type of case modding throughout the year. But most of the time, I never got to finish any of it. This time, I told myself to finish my build, no matter what happened. the motivation for that is mainly because now I'm a father of 2, and having my computer running on a test bench or letting it run on my computer table without a casing is really not a safety risk I'd want to take, especially with my daughter being just like her dad when he was young, which was a naughty boy. So, for my kids, safety first and no PC running outside of a case.
My current project(and proud to say DONE project), is my Cooler Master Elite 370 case. It was a case that I can say was love at first sight. not just for the looks, but also for the price. I bought it for RM150, which for me that time was a steal! Even though I seriously hated the silver colored insides. So, that's where I got the motivation to mod it. What was first in my mind was to paint the whole insides black, cut out a few cable routing holes and drill a few holes for the cable management. I wanted to keep it simple for this build. So simple it was. it's been 2 weeks since I've started the project, and I'm glad to say that it's DONE! It's not my best work, but It's OK in my book. So, bringing it home today, to get it assembled and get my PC back inside. This case will have some more work done to it, as I'm not really a 100% satisfied with it yet. But that for another project. for now, I'll keep it.
